King Shaka International Airport

We are receiving quite a lot of requests for this airport and the official word is that we are busy with the airport.

We normally use satellite images to get the layout of the airport and the shape and size of the buildings correct. Unfortunately Google Earth is several years behind! The good news is that we did get runway and taxiway placement information to work on and at this stage; the runway, taxiways and aprons are at the correct positions.

The buildings and runway lighting still need to be added, but we can only do that once we get photographs of the buildings. With the Soccer World Cup on at the moment, it is not a good idea to visit the airport and to take photographs. It will be better to wait until after the event.

The bottom line is that we are busy with the airport, but we cannot complete it right now.
